On the set of (on)WHATIPU

For the last few months I have taken part in helping Navi Collaborative bring to life a beautiful, original and moving mixed media theatre piece that we performed as part of Auckland Fringe Festival. I got loads of experience taking part in the devising rehearsals, producing marketing material, co-coordinating live music gigs (one facet of the project) and helping design and construct key elements for the stage. Mid Winter Recharge

Mid Winter Recharge

I am so not a winter person. The year is half done and it's hard to re-set and recharge and not feel overwhelmed by all that I have not yet done that I set out to do. It is so important to fill your tank.  I was really lucky to go to Queenstown recently (NZ's South Island) and despite the frigid temps, I found it restorative. The epic landscape was humbling and inspiring, helping perspective flow- and the simple, elegant nature-inspired touches at the place we stayed were calming and soul-satisfying.  Having majored in photography at Art School I lament...
